I will be creating a full website soon. This link may have issues from time to time in the next few days. Keep patient. I will have the new site up soon.
Greg.
.:UPDATE:.
I will not be making a Part C to the Apalachicola fishing trip. I think fishing tails has become rather boring since I am the only one on it and since I never seem to catch any fish — whats the point? I am going fishing this weekend and if it is a good day I might post a video of that.
.:REMODEL:.
We are remodeling the kitchen at the house and the demo has already started. We were able to take the top cabinets out and will be working on the pantry walls tonight as well as the drop down ceiling where the cabinets were. I will try and post some pictures soon.
.:WEBSITE:.
I will be building an actual “website” in the next few weeks for gregramer.com. This ‘blog’ will still be here but I am thinking you will get to it from the main page of my new site. One thing that I have lost with this WordPress blog is the ability to post a lot of pictures. I created a Flikr account, but I am not a big fan of their viewing format. With this new website, I am hoping that I can post more pictures for your viewing pleasure, or disgust.
.:SCHOOL:.
I started the summer semester this week. I am still not “officially” in my criminology class. Since it is not my major they don’t let regular students register until the third day of class (today). The class is already full, so I may have to butter up some people to let me in.
My ASL III class seems like it will be fun. My teacher is the wife of my ASL II teacher. They seem to have the same format of teaching. There are a few people in this class that were in my last class, so it is good to know people that can help you if you need it. One of the girls from my class last semester was talking about starting a study group for this class. I have never been into study groups. I like working alone, but since I didn’t do so hot in ASL II, I may just have to join.
Happy Friday.
Greg.
Our website is now live — sort of. Basically only the main page is up, but keep checking back as I will be updating it soon.

This dude is whack. I got lightheaded watching these videos I laughed so hard.
Okay, now this one is a remix of number three. The first 54 seconds are the best.

I need some help on web hosting. Does anyone out there have any good places they know to host a site? What are the ones that you use? I have created a web site using iWeb and I want to transfer the html to a host, but I am not very knowledgeable in that area.
Any help would be greatly welcomed. If you don’t know of any, but know someone that could help me, please let me know.

Thanks,

I will be developing a website on the Mac my church purchased. Is there anyone out there that has made a website using iWeb? Or, do you know of anyone that has? I would love to see the webpages.
Thanks.

As you can see, I didn’t stay with the white background too long. There is something about the black background that I really like. More elegant I guess.
Well, for any of you who have followed this blog for anytime now, you have noticed that I am close to owning a Mac. Sort of? The church in which I attend/serve is, or shall I say has, purchased a Mac Book Pro. It was supposed to be shipped yesterday, but as of this morning it was not. My pastor called Apple and found out the money that was wired is missing, or something? Last I heard, Apple is figuring out what went wrong and hopefully the Mac will be sent soon.
To say that I am excited would be an understatement. I have a long history of buying items on the fly. (This would be a direct reason I am still living with my parents. Credit cards just don’t pay for themselves. That is a shame, if you ask me.) For years I purchased items because it looked cool and I could convince myself that I needed one of whatever it was my heart desired. On the other hand, my brother is completely different. He takes time to research something he is going to purchase. And he doesn’t spend money at all. You could go in his room and find uncashed checks from his birthday or Christmas months after the event. I envy him in that sense.
I decided to use my brothers researching skills when my heart started desiring a new computer. Last summer I started looking at Apples. I had heard about them through the rise of the iPod and started to gain an avid interest in them. I was a little concerned about owning a Mac because I heard they did not play nice with a Microsoft based system. That concern was slowly lifted when I heard Macs now came with Intel. So, both Macintosh and Microsoft programs could be run on one computer. Yeah!
With my interest peaked I started to look into which one to get. That is when I came across the price! Wow. I was not ready to pay for a Mac. I was reassured by friends and various Mac owners the price was well worth it. So, here I am, days away from having a Mac at my disposal 24/7. Now what?
I want to make some cool videos, maybe remix a song or two. I could design a website (which I will be doing for my church and then eventually myself). One thing I want to do is create a podcast. I don’t want to create anything dumb, which I am afraid of doing. My question to all two of you who stop by my whee little corner of the web, what are somethings that you like about podcasts that you have heard? Do you have any ideas for me? Should I have someone else with me, like a co-host? Or, are there too many podcast out there and I would be just another poser?

The Countdown has begun til when I will have enough money for my first Mac! Truthfully, the Countdown began months ago, but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Below you will see an apple that indicates how close I am. When the leaf is completely green — the Mac will be on its way. I need roughly $1700 for the one I want — the Black Mac Book. I am close, but to far away too buy right now. Stay tuned. I am excited. Are you?
Greg.
