Spidey Not So Mighty

I just got back from wasting four hours of my life. At 9:30 p.m. me, Jerad, Lance, RJ, Steph, Micah, and RJ’s sister got in line for the new Spiderman movie. I was excited. The first two were really good in my opinion, so I was looking forward to seeing the newest one. I thought the trailers were great and I was ready to go.

Then the movie started.

People, let me tell you. Spiderman 3 was one of the worst movies I have EVER seen. And I have seen a lot. I am currently in second place at my local Blockbuster with the most movies rented — 920 something. I watch at least two movies from Netflicks every week, when time permits.

This movie was horrible. It seemed to be thrown together at the last minute with direction from an eleven year old. I am not a big comic book fan, but my friend Jerad is. And he agreed with me — it was mind-numbingly awful. The acting was bad, Stan Lee looked and acted a mess (it all goes down hill after his mug clogs up the screen).

I highly recommend that you save your money and see something else. Or, you can send it to me so I can get my money back. Now, if there was only a way to get my time back?

This dude is whack. I got lightheaded watching these videos I laughed so hard.

Okay, now this one is a remix of number three. The first 54 seconds are the best.

Fishing Tails 6 coming this weekend.

Less then two months, my friends. Less then two months!

PS. Sorry for all of the video post, I haven’t a lot of time to write anything currently. It is the end of the semester and all.

Went to see the new Mark Walburg movie, Shooter, tonight with some friends from the church. Hit up Logan’s Roadhouse first. I must admit that I am not the biggest fan of Logan’s, however, they possibly have the best rolls ever in the history of rolls. My steak, the Logan, was really good this time. Usually it is dry and tough, but this one was done up right nicely.

Big H managed to score us some appetizers for our next visit. (Thanks to the persistence of Mr. Thompson.) The movie was good, I recommend. There is a lot of blood and pretty realistic and descriptive impact shots. So, if you are not into the blood and guts, mainly blood, sort of thing, this may not be your movie.

I promise I was trying to take a picture of the group and not little miss thang walking in the background.

Clayton, Brittaney, Hailey, and Brian

Hailey sporting the free appetizer ticket. Ahh, yeah!

Some Of My Favorites

In no certain order.

I love the way the dude falls.

If you know thier history, this is funny.

I am assuming this is the final version of the commercial idea that guy, Gino, did to win the NFL commercial contest. I liked his original idea (click on number 5 – Gino) better with the Boyz ll Men song, "It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye," but Brett Farve at the end bumped it into my favorites.

King Size BLOGS – Movies

Well, well, well. Look who it is. Yes, that is correct, it is me, Greg. I have decided to take a break from "studying" and finish me blog post for King Size BLOGS — Movies. I haven’t had much of a chance to write anything recently since the semester started up, which is good, because I pretty much agree with everyone of David’s picks.

I thought The Good Shepherd and Cars were great. Miami Vice was horrendous. I am beginning to hate anything Michael Mann does. You make a movie called Miami Vice. You use the same names for the main characters, but yet, you find that the theme song is not worth putting in the movie — anywhere! I just don’t get.

Movieing on, get it? Movieing on. Okay, never mind. I am hoping to post some new pictures soon. I have done some fishing recently, and I actually have a picture of me with a fish. You won’t want to miss that picture, it doesn’t happen very often.
