coming to an end

The Spring semester is coming to an end. I am very, very, very excited about this. This has been one of the more time consuming semesters in recent memory. It has required a lot of reading. Which I have done — for the most part. Once this semester is done, the Summer semester will begin on May 9th. I am hoping to be able to take four (4) classes during the summer. If I can do that then I will be on track to graduate in December of this year. At the latest I will graduate in the Spring semester of 2008.

This has been a long time coming. I started college in 1996, the summer. Through many missed days and failed classes, I have made my way here — the light at the end of the tunnel. I am not ashamed to have taken so long to graduate. I was at one point, but I realize that it was for a reason.

I had a great talk with a close friend last night (who is, for the most part, in the same college career boat that I am in). We talked about how fast these years have gone by and the lessons that we have learned. It was a good time of reflection and hope for the future.

I have plans for my life after graduation. I don’t know where they will lead me, but I am excited to be able to get on with them.

Greg.

COngratulations on the ending and the beginning. This is the one true life when the concept of Alpha and Omega apply. Ending your collegiate career and that angst and starting out as a yong professional. It took me eight long years to get my degree but hey, it’s quality NOT quantity.

I almost envy you being at this particular time in your life. I said “almost”.

Good luck. I hope your dreams are all within reach.
