I will be developing a website on the Mac my church purchased. Is there anyone out there that has made a website using iWeb? Or, do you know of anyone that has? I would love to see the webpages.
Thanks.

I received confirmation this morning that the Mac Book Pro is in Tallahassee and on the truck for delivery.
Relief.

I found this at my friend, Jerad’s, blog. This is pretty darn rad.

As you can see, I didn’t stay with the white background too long. There is something about the black background that I really like. More elegant I guess.
Well, for any of you who have followed this blog for anytime now, you have noticed that I am close to owning a Mac. Sort of? The church in which I attend/serve is, or shall I say has, purchased a Mac Book Pro. It was supposed to be shipped yesterday, but as of this morning it was not. My pastor called Apple and found out the money that was wired is missing, or something? Last I heard, Apple is figuring out what went wrong and hopefully the Mac will be sent soon.
To say that I am excited would be an understatement. I have a long history of buying items on the fly. (This would be a direct reason I am still living with my parents. Credit cards just don’t pay for themselves. That is a shame, if you ask me.) For years I purchased items because it looked cool and I could convince myself that I needed one of whatever it was my heart desired. On the other hand, my brother is completely different. He takes time to research something he is going to purchase. And he doesn’t spend money at all. You could go in his room and find uncashed checks from his birthday or Christmas months after the event. I envy him in that sense.
I decided to use my brothers researching skills when my heart started desiring a new computer. Last summer I started looking at Apples. I had heard about them through the rise of the iPod and started to gain an avid interest in them. I was a little concerned about owning a Mac because I heard they did not play nice with a Microsoft based system. That concern was slowly lifted when I heard Macs now came with Intel. So, both Macintosh and Microsoft programs could be run on one computer. Yeah!
With my interest peaked I started to look into which one to get. That is when I came across the price! Wow. I was not ready to pay for a Mac. I was reassured by friends and various Mac owners the price was well worth it. So, here I am, days away from having a Mac at my disposal 24/7. Now what?
I want to make some cool videos, maybe remix a song or two. I could design a website (which I will be doing for my church and then eventually myself). One thing I want to do is create a podcast. I don’t want to create anything dumb, which I am afraid of doing. My question to all two of you who stop by my whee little corner of the web, what are somethings that you like about podcasts that you have heard? Do you have any ideas for me? Should I have someone else with me, like a co-host? Or, are there too many podcast out there and I would be just another poser?

Okay, new look done.
Greg.
PS. Rocked some Geoff Moore & The Distance, Greatest Hits, while I was working on the new look. Brought back some good memories of my high school days. Ahh.

If this doesn’t give you chills, I don’t know what will.

Went home sick on Tuesday to let my head-cold have a little alone time with my bed. When I got to work on Wednesday there was a rose on my desk — which was nice. I just don’t know who they were from. Whoever you are, thanks.
Greg.
