Hunting Trip

BrowningMy brother and I are heading to North Mississippi tomorrow for some hunting.  I am rather excited about that fact.  I have only been hunting one other time in my life and it just so happened to be where we are going this week.  I shot two deer when I went last time, but I didn’t get any pictures of them.  (I was rather ticked about that fact by the way.)

I hope to let my Browning reach out and touch a deer.  Hopefully I will get a nice buck, but some good doe meat will be okay.  I will try and update this site when I get back.  I hope that your Christmas was great.

A Wedding

Hello.  Just a quick update on my life.  I have been pretty busy creating a video and preparing for a presentation at work this week.  On that note…I want to say thanks to my good friend Jerad for letting me borrow his Apple laptop this past week.  My presentation went well.  I will try and post the video I made if I can get it on here.

Groom_and_brideI am heading to Ormond Beach, FL tomorrow for my good friends wedding this Saturday.  I am one of the groomsmen.  I am always the groomsmen.  I am not sure of the count, but I think that I have been in eleven weddings as a either a groomsmen or best man.  Not that I am complaining, that means that I have friends that dig me.  And I dig them.  But, I wouldn’t mind being the groom just once.  That is all that I am asking — just once.

Apple Laptop

Hey.  Does anyone have an Apple Laptop I can borrow until Tuesday of next week?  I know this is a big request, and a weird one, but I don’t own an Apple computer and I need one for a project I am doing.  If you are willing, I need one that has iLife ‘06 on it.

This is not a joke, I really need to use one and have it for a few days.  The sooner I can get it, the better.  You may email if you are able to give up your Apple for a few days.  Thanks.

This is pretty darn funny, but incredibly disrepectful at the same time.

Speaking of desrespectful.  Why is Michigan not play for the National Championship?  I agree with ol’ Gene.

Oh, Christmas Tree

Dsc06711e_1Dad, mom, and I went to cut down our Christmas tree for this year.  We needed to find a really nice one, since we will be hosting Christmas this time around.  To be honest, the pickings were slim but I think we managed to find a nice one.

On the way home, we hit the Hill-top Country Store as always.  They have new Cuban sandwich that is pretty darn good.  No Nehi Grape drink though.  I was disappointed.

Fender Bender

I was in a little fender bender this morning.  On my way into work, I was hit from behind while I waited at a traffic light.  A little Ford Ranger slammed into me on the rain slicked road.  Because the road was so wet, I slide a pretty good ways forward.  Fortunatly, I was stopped far enough away from the vehicle in front of me that I did not hit him.

There is very little damage to my truck (as you can see by the pictures).  My trailer light hook-up is bend down some and there is a slight dent on my left side muffler tip.  I haven’t had a chance to really look at it all, but I don’t think there will be anything that needs to be fixed.

I am back with Typepad.com.  I don’t have enough time right now to create my own website, so I decided to go back to Typepad.com and use their templates.
